Update on the extended battery and the car dock
Well the droid two car dock fits the droid 1 with extended battery on
But the car dock comes with two inserts one labeled original droid and one droid two use the one labeled droid two as it has more space in the back for the extended battery

Also looking at the original car dock it had two thin rails on the inside I think if you grind
Those off the og dock may work

My Motorola car dock has a pop out plate that reveals the magnet and the hooks that connects the dock to the window suction piece. I hope with that removed plate, I'll have the room needed to make it fit/

Removing the little plate on the original dock does nothing as the battery cover is wider
Than the hole it provides. The droid fits in the dock but the extended battery puts a lot of pressure on the bottom chin of the droid I took a sharp knife and shaved the two rails on the inside of the dock and shaved some plastic from under the two parts that hold the bottom chin in the dock and the phone fits fine nite in og dock with no pressure on that bottom chin.

So the back is just slightly raised. Still not bad for a slim extended battery. How is the battery status reading the battery. I have a seidio battery that I am selling on ebay and the Droid never could give an accurate battery reading. How is this one working for you?

So far so good its reading 30% and seems to be right on its been on for a
while but I use ultimate juice and I was getting 12hrs on the stock battery from
A full charge so I should get close to 18/20 with heavy usage
Also I have a low voltage kernel at 1ghz using the conservative governor setting

You could call verizon and ask to cancel
I would say your stuck if they sent you a shipping
Notice.

To all reading this post the extended battery from motorola sold via verizon
rocks and makes using the droid a pleasure with out having to worry about battery life

Naw no shipping notice. It wouldn't get sent out til tomorrow so I will see what they say when I call after work. And hopefully the closest verizon store has one.
