I originally had the Body Glove.. Broke on me after taking it on and off VERY RARELY for less than a month.. Decided to do some research and got myself a Sedio Innocase, That lasted a good bit of time, 3 months or so before it too began to break. My current case (And IMO, best of all of them) is the Otterbox. It looks nice, feels nice, and is REALLY easy to take on and off. Its a silicone casing that absorbs shock covered by a rediculously hard plastic outer coating that hooks into the silicone. I've dropped it, taken it off time and time again, and its been holding up like new without any sort of a problem.
And when i say rediculously hard plastic.. Squeesing it at the weakest points it BARELY moves.
I didn't even pull the plastic off screen last week on Droid2. Went to a couple verizon stores and they didnt have any yet so i got zagg for droid @ bestbuy for about $22. . Realized the zagg had some sort of liquid involved in application Boo! Found a verizon store that had some of the screen protectors they have for about $12 and the rep put it on for me just the same as they done my Eris. That same protector is on it to date and u would have to be looking hard for it, to notice. Went with a snap on hard gel type case, it fits very clean and snug. My experiences with the accesories they sell are great so farfar. Anyway, hard gel snap on is sweet on droid 2. . . And they put my protector on perfectly.
I've the Otter Skin on my Moto Droid 1 for about a week and this thing is a champ. It's a bit pricey ($35 bucks or so) but the silicone and plastic together seem to fit well. The only complaints I have with it are in the headphone jack. Because the silicone fits so well on the phone, when opening the flaps that protect the ports, it seems that unless well broken in, they attempt to fold back into place. The screen layer easily sealed itself onto the touch screen and I have seen zero change in sensitivity or performance. The plastic is probably one of the highest quality I have seen, although it does not have a holster connection. Overall, this skin is very heavy duty and the silicone seal actually makes it a little more impervious to water damage than nekkid or other skins I have seen. If you haven't checked one out, I suggest trying it seeing as everyone has different needs. I happen to be rough on phones so I only purchased it because of it's heavy duty plastic and screen protector. Good buy overall
what is a good case that the top cover will actually stay on when you take it out of your pocket. Ive had several cases where as soon as i try to take the phone out of my pocket the top case comes off
Otterbox is the best case by far for the Droid on my opinion. Never had a loose case issue with mine.

I think the Otterbox Defender looks to offer some way over-the-top protection. I am really looking forward to this product coming out. Anyone hear of when we might be able to get one?
i didn't like the verizon ones. they just felt "wrong" if that makes sense. I prefer box wave or seidio as they feel more like what the screen feels like naked.
