cheapdroids.com is a fraud?

Doesnt seem to me that their customer service is up to par. Usually businesses that use drop shipping or order small lots use those generalized terms like "We are swamped with orders" or "Sorry, its on backorder" etc etc etc... To us consumers they sound like lame excuses and poor business practices. Because they ARE.

I find this whole thread completely odd, was CheapDroids just trolling the forum at the time and found that post? Is the person actually a member here? Is there an update the OP would like to share? Did you get your items?

Anyway, sounds like buyers should beware.

Cheapdroids.com is a totally unreliable company. I don't know what their scam is, but if you expect to get anything from them on the first try, don't use them. I ordered some items for Christmas with plenty of time for delivery. The items never came. About a week after Christmas, I contacted them and they said they were overwhelmed with orders and that I would get mine soon. A week later, nothing. After I complained again, they shipped a partial order, saying the rest was on backorder but that they were expecting a shipment later that week so I would have the rest soon. I forgot about the remainder of the order (was only a cover for my Droid) until recently (March). When I emailed and asked whatever happened with the rest of my order, they gave the same stock answer as the last time I asked ... they were overwhelmed with orders and the item was on backorder. This was a simple case that I could buy anywhere else. They didn't know when it would be in. They offered to refund my money, which I accepted. We'll see if the refund ever appears on my credit card. Frustrating!

PM me your info and I'll make sure your refund went through. Again, we are not a scam. We had some delays on inventories in the beginning but this was due to manufacturer delays, we could do nothing about it. There were quite a few stores out of the same cases that we were out of. I'm sorry you had a bad experience with us.

Yes, I am a member here and post when I find people calling our store a scam when it is not. We do not drop ship either. We have a warehouse full of inventory that we all work out of. We have in house customer support as well from 8am-10pm EST M-F.

Did you even buy anything from us? If you have and actually had a problem, please PM me and I will take care of it personally.

Very True, An order number is all they need to then PM you with something like a street address. Only an actual rep can pull that info from an order number.
