02-11-2011 05:34 PMYou want to grab a program called Extreme Call Blocker Droid from the Android Market. It's not free - couple of bucks, if I recall - but it works quite well, with numerous ways you can set it up to get rid of telemarketers (hang up immediately, no voice mail), an ex-girlfriend (send directly to voice mail), things like that.

02-13-2011 08:45 AMi agree but there might be a setting where you can block calls im not sure because i havent set it up or you can also go to your service provider and they might be able to do it for free im not sure

There are apps and you can use Google Voice. It might help to clarify what your specific goal is. Keep in mind that apps can't prevent you from being billed for blocked calls. -

02-24-2011 07:39 AMI use a free app from the market called Easy Filter, and so far I like it a lot. If you go through your carrier to block calls, they will charge you for that service (Verizon does at least).

02-24-2011 10:32 AMI have blocked call feature with Verizon which is part of my Family Plan. they do not charge per # at all. I have blocked websites as well on this plan. its part of Verizon safeguards. it also blocks text/picture/video msgs
