This is the second Motorola car mount that I have gone through.
I was wondering if there is any way to get it to stick to the windshield more securely.
Both car mounts have worked great for three weeks or so, but now the suction cup does not have much suction...just like my previous car mount.
Any help or suggestions? And no, licking the suction cup does not help

01-28-2011 12:16 PMThis is the only way it will consistently stick for me. If I don't clean the area where I put it once a week, it falls off. I suppose if I didn't have to remove it while out of the car it wouldn't happen so much, but I hate leaving it up there.

01-28-2011 12:21 PMI have also heard of applying chapstick or petroleum jelly just around the edges of the suction cup. This helps seal it to the window.

01-28-2011 12:36 PMClean the area with rubbing alcohol, then apply a very thin layer of dish soap on the suction cup. This should keep it sticky enough to hold for a while...

01-28-2011 12:56 PMI've had mine up since xmas. I cleaned the windshield with windex before and its still holding good.

02-19-2011 08:49 PMI cleaned the windshield with the spray that my friend gave to me. sell us your car online I don't know what it was. I'll post some pictures of it next week.
