I am not sure what to do. I bought an already rooted droid 4. It worked fine for the first 2 weeks but then little things started happening. The phone has been locking and freezing on apps- it is constantly asking me to "report" wait or close. This has progressed to the home screen doing it as well. Sometimes the phone just goes completely black and only the bottom lights up. I have to push and hold the power button and the down volume button to get it to reset. And then at start up the greeting sputters and echoes (ddddrrrroooooidddd) and sometimes I have to hold the down volume button to get it to got past that. I've noticed that the call quality has dropped off dramatically and sometimes it takes a couple moments before I can hear the other person and even then it cuts in and out. I don't know that the two functionality issues are related. I was using GoLauncher EX but have completely removed it thinking it was part of the problem with freezing. The camera has completely stopped working. I push it and the screen goes black and then force closes. I have tried updating the super user version I have installed and it says its up to date.I have installed CacheMate to clear the cache as most sites suggest but it doesn't seem to help the problem. I did a factory data reset as someone suggested but it didn't appear to fully reset. The font that I had installed via ROM toolbox(which was deleted from the reset) was still on the device and so was the superuser app. This did not cure my problems either. Any suggestion or point in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. I still like the phone but I wish that I could get it be completely functional.
