Factory droid 4 won't boot after battery drainage

Hello.

I let my battery drain and got to wall charger right away but can't get beyond the Moto logo. The phone stalls after the moto logo and remains in a backlit black screen.

Should I perform a factory reset?

I'm upgraded to ICS.

I have not dropped it.

Any help is appreciated

I would recommend leaving your battery on the charger for a while so your battery definitely has some juice. But if you still can't get past the red M logo, you might be looking at a factory reset.
