Empty Trash from E mail ICS 4.04

Is there a way to empty the email trashcan in version 4.04 or is it not necessary.

Is there a way to empty the email trashcan in version 4.04 or is it not necessary.

While in the Inbox, touch Inbox in the upper left corner. A pop-up will allow you to toggle between accounts if you have more than one. Below that is a list of folders. If Trash isn't listed touch Show all folders and it will appear in the list. Open Trash and touch the control icon in the lower left corner. Touch Select all and after the e-mails are checked, touch delete (the Trash can icon in the lower left corner). I do this periodically to free up memory.

Thanks for the reply, it works well. There is very little out on version 4 for ICS
