About LinkBacksYou could. I dont think you have to remove the tape, there are two screws that hold the copper strip to the phone near the bottom. I beleive that's where the wires must be attached to.
Ask kenji again if the programming cable can be used to charge the phone, I believe it can.

12-31-2012 06:20 PMYou can use a small flat blade screwdriver on them but you don't have to take them out just carefully put the wires on each terminal with something to hold them down. Then plug in the charger. Assuming you don't mind scrapping a usb cable.
