i made one attempt but it was a failure. i think i got to decompile it and recompile it into a lower api level so it will work with ics.

Is it possible to get spell correction to work with stock android keyboard when using the physical QWERTY ? Am I missing something? I always have to use a 3rd party keyboard to get spell correction to work when using physical keyboard thanks

Coming from an HTC phone, i'm a huge fan of that clock. Did you install that into this ROM or did you get that separately? Mind sharing

You need to go into 'language & input' and adjust the Motorola keyboard settings. Then when you open the physical keyboard make sure you tap on the part of the screen where you text appears and you'll see the spell check line appear.. hope that helps kinda drunk.. lol I can be more specific tomorrow if need be.

I was referring to stock android keyboard in eclipse ROM there isn't a Motorola keyboard on eclipse

Hmm, I guess I never used this phone with the original Motorola keyboard since I put GB Eclipse on it the day I got it...any chance of a patch to add it back in so we can get spell check working while using the hardware qwerty? ;-)

fixed it in 1.5.1 its uploading now. also added dsp manager and removed beats

Just updated to 1.5.1 and can verify spellcheck now works with the physical keyboard. Thanks for the job well done!

One more thing I've notices is that my power widgets reboot feature doesn't work as of 1.5+. It worked in all the revisions prior to that.
