Speaking of the external card, or /sdcard-ext I think this must be a bug they are still working on. None of my media is detected automatically on my 32G card. It is all there, and with a file browser I can still open the items, but none of my photo galleries will see/detect those photos on their own, and none of the music players will see/detect this media on its own.

I am sure it must be just one of those things motorola hasn't completed yet.

Also, does anyone else have issues clicking on the "install" button when installing an app? The work around is to open the physical keyboard and use the arrow keys to navigate to the button and hit enter, but it's kind of annoying.

@ken: Nope not here. However, data started getting finicky. It would connect, but it wouldn't allow internet use. :/

That's odd. My data got incredibly fast out of nowhere.

Here at work in Santa Monica, I get steady 12-13 Mbps down and 10-12 Mbps up. The image was at home in Los Angeles in my parking deck!

Okay, I'm on Stock .219 no root. To my knowledge, I haven't changed anything in /system or the other file that was mentioned. If I'm not rooted, and still plan to be without root, I should be able to skip step 1 without any issues, correct? I'm only asking because I want to do this now, but I'm at work and I don't want to wait until I get home to do this, thus, I don't have my home computer with the program used to flash .219. I should be good to go, no?
