Please note, if you freeze "Motorola Input" it will turn off the virtual keyboard. Maybe that occurred to everyone else but it confused the hell out of me for a good 15 minutes
Thank you for your list of things you disabled. There were a few that I did not disable becuase I use them for work.. such as Netflix, Maps, Talk.
Do you have to be rooted to freeze apps?
If not, can someone give me a quick overview of how to do this? thanks
As for as I know, you have to be rooted to freeze apps using apps like TitaniumBackup (I think I saw another such app mentioned, but I can't remember what it is). If you're running ICS, you can disable most of the bloat (go into apps, all app, find the app you want to disable, uninstall any updates that might have been applied, then disable); this method does not require root.
By doing it this way will it cause issues when they release another upgrade? I know with Titanium I had to unfreeze to get the OTA updates
