Auto dock disk stick um

I have the auto dock and use the large plastic disk stuck to my dash. It worked fine for several months but now the plastic disk comes loose from the adhesive patch in a hour or so and will only hold for minutes.

Does anyone know of a adhesive or treatment I can use on top of the existing adhesive or the back side of the plastic disk?

I'm thinking a thin coat of contact cement to the back side of the disk which is smooth may work.

I use the 3M double sided tape that holds body molding on car doors. IT is similar to what came with the mount, but is bigger and more heavy duty.
