It wont stop vibrating

I just got my droid 3 tuesday and its my 1st droid coming from blackberry. So far i love it but my biggest anoyance is even in silent mode it vibrates so in school i eithe have to turn it off or hope the teacher dosnt here it. Does anyone know a solution to this problem??

Select Menu>Sound >turn off vibrate. Should be at the top of the screen.

When you turn the volume down it's volume->vibrate->silent... If you use the little slider on the lock screen it's either volume or vibrate...

yup its just in the settings like they said.

maybe you should worry about your phone a little less and pay attention to how to spell hear.

If you know of a way to make the volume rocker go from Volume to Vibrate to Silent, please share.

To my knowledge that got changed a long time ago where it's either Vibrate or Silent.

Around then sounds right. Since then I've posted numerous times to bring it back but I guess I'm stuck using Quick Settings to make that change quickly and easily.

If you have Vibrate turned off for notifications and ringer in settings, the small slider on the lock screen will go from sound to silent with no vibrate.

I found the best way to quickly switch between silent vibrate and ringing is to download the silent toggle widget, it works great and its free. Just put it on one of your home screens and your good to go.
