Lightbulb How the new Camera? (picture thread)

Wondering how the new camera is working out. Would love to see your best (and worst) examples of what the Droid 3 is capable of.

I'm looking to upgrade from my Droid 1, and while I was pretty happy with the clarity of the camera on that phone, colors always seemed washed out, and slightly over exposed.

The camera is great. Picture quality is on par with the latest phone technology. What I really like, however, is the constant auto-focus that keeps the picture crisp and clear. The movie recording capabilities are pretty nice at 1080p/30fps.

I initially was underwhelmed, but finding that there is a reason they stress the 1080p video recording. It's actually pretty damn good when you are out in the daytime. Then tonight I discovered that using that new LED flash as a light actually works effectively. Quite a jump from trying to do the same thing on the Droid, which was useless.

i put the phone on 1080p setting and the light on ...in my room which is pretty dark i was able to take a view vids playing guitar and from the phone being like 5 feet away sitting on a table u can see all the finger movements on the fret board...i thought it was pretty cool first time i recorded myself playing and the camcorder was pretty good...during playback there was a hiccup or two but i dont think thats in the video only because a backround process probably froze the phone for .5 second

I have the HTC Thunderbolt, and it takes pictures immediately. My wife just got the Droid 3, and it takes like 2 seconds from when you hit the button to take a picture until it actually takes the picture. It is frustrating and disappointing. Anyone else experiencing this, and does anyone have a possible fix?

Here are a couple pics in daylight I took today. Big improvement from the D1. I could live with the pic quality.

Can you take some low light shots too? I'd really appreciate it! The Droid 1 is abysmal in low light and I'm debating on picking up a Droid 3 on Thursday.

I'm assuming this is the case, but is the droid 3's camera faster than the droid 1 camera? when i say faster i mean lately my droid 1 after i take a picture it gets hosed up for a few minutes before i can either take another picture or see the one that i just took. I'm upgrading tomorrow when its launched in stores and was just curious if this was def the case.

I'm really liking the camera. I just ran out and took this pic of the moon.
