    Droid 3 Video problem

I had an LG Env Touch before the D3 and it played mp4 fine. So I thought getting a DROID phone with a 4" screen would be even better. I have tried almost every 3rd party player and their codec and the movies won’t play in avi or mp4. I am so pissed off I want to go back to my Env. Can anybody help my ,
video playback with my Droid 3
    ,

    Thank You

Try BSplayer lite, free from market.
    Do you like uninstallable bloatware?
It takes about 5 minutes to complain and it's kinda fun. Let's not be complacent!

BSPlayer Lite wasn't playing the AVIs/MP4s? That's weird because I download stuff right off the internet and BSPlayer plays it without any re-encoding. I haven't used Handbrake in about a year. Here are my settings for the app:

Video decoding options (SW mode) > Video decoding options > Auto

Decoding mode > Hardware decoding mode (BSPlayer engine)

Once or twice I noticed that the phone required a reboot or it wouldn't play video so you might want to reboot and then open BSPlayer.

The thing is I download these movies from a paid site I belong to and they are movies that are out in the theater or past movies these are not streaming movies. I don't have any problem playing videos off the internet. Also I use ZumoCast app to get the movies off my computer and I have no problem playing them so it definitely is a codec issue.

I use MX Video Player. It plays just about every codec out right now including all mpeg formats, avi, DiVX. I have had no problem with any video file...

If you bought them, maybe they have DRM or something.

What bitrate are they? And are they .mkv's? .mp4 is preferred, mine easily plays 1080p content with moboplayer, and for strictly .Mp4 content I use act one player. Mobo is free.
