For the love of GOD, can anyone think of a way to enable sending SMS messages when the physical enter key is pressed? This is driving me crazy.
And no, I don't want to use Handsent/Chomp/Whatever.

This was a huge issue for me too, yet I have gotten used to hitting "right key" then OK. I've had my D3 since the day of release, so I've had plenty time to get used to it. Just sayin...

I want the action to stay just the way it is.
I want to have the ability to perform a "carriage return/linefeed" when creating SMS messages. This is the action of the onscreen "enter" key. There is a send button on the messaging app for sending.
Alt + enter?

Even if the OK button alone would send... that's would make sense, no??

Try "Go SMS Pro"... it's a free replacement messaging app that has a LOT of features, one including the option to set enter as send.
Installed the CyanogenMod build of the AOSP messaging app. Works perfectly.
