This is a serious question that may sound ridiculous...recently bought a Droid3 new to use as a mini tablet....ie., no Verizon involvement...I now find I can't unlock the SIM or root the phone....who owns these phones once you have bought them...
Verizon, Motorola (Google). This is not correct. Thanks -

08-19-2011 10:29 PMWell.. you likely, probably, should have done your research before buying the phone. Discussion on rooting this phone is over a month old, it's not yet been figured out. It'll get it soon enough.
