Bluetooth will limit the connection. Typically to 1 mbps, so with overhead, that sounds about right. This is probably why verizon has not blocked bluetooth tethering. It's limited to one device and isn't really practical to use for streaming hd video or downloading large files.
Thats what this thread is about....using Wi-Fi FOR FREE....because its so much fast he "better" option for most. HOWEVER it does go against your data usage so DONT forget that little tidbit folks.
Exactly. So for those who want to play by the rules, it's nice to know bluetooth is an option. For laptops that don't have it, the tiny adapters can be had for less than $10.
So I did this and I don't know if it would have done this before but, my phone keeps dropping 3g after a few minutes, if I restart the service it works shortly and then drops again, is anyone experiencing these problems?
