Animated Smileys

My old Env3 had the ability to add animated smileys to text messages. I was wondering if there was an app that allowed you to do this? Thanks for any responses.

Handcent can do this. When typing a text, press menu button and select insert smiley. You have the option of standard smileys or emoji, however the emoji option requires an additional plugin (free) for this option to work.

I'm relatively sure that if the recipient doesn't also have emoji plug ins, then they will receive a square in the text instead of the nice smiley you sent.
