Zumo cast problems (help)

Every time I try to play music with zumo cast it says "media streaming error" I wonder if there I is some setting I need to enable on the computer

suggestions?

I just set this up yesterday and the only problem I've had was apparently needing to restart my phone before it said my computer was online other then that idk. If u haven't yet I would try restarting both phone and computer

Tried that:/ I have avg on both compys and its caused issues when axcessing the info with other than the os, like a boot cd

Make sure your anti-virus or firewall is not blocking Zumo Cast.

I had the same issue, and it ended up being my AV was not allowing access to Zumo Cast from the internet.

That should square you up.

BTW, I am loving ZumoCast so far. Coming from a Touch Pro 2 to Droid 3, I was happy to find a decent alternative to my old Orb server, having read horrible reviews of Orb's android software (on the old WinMo phone, I used Kimono Free Player). The audio quality is MUCH better as well.

And the good thing is, you can still run your Orb server (if you have one) to connect via your home network while running Zumo Cast to connect to your Droid3 while away from you wireless network.
