Question Can't disable roaming after 2.3 update

    Hi

I had the 2.3.20.A955.Verizon.en.US update pushed out to my phone (Verizon Droid 2) a few days ago. Then today I tried to go in and disable data roaming by going to "Settings>Wireless & networks>Mobile networks" but the only option I see within Mobile networks is "System select" where I can select "Home" or "Automatic".

Does anyone else see this on their Droid 2 after the update? Does anyone know how I can disable data while roaming?

    Please help!

I can confirm that those are the only options I see on my D2, post-update.

Maybe try dialing *#*#INFO#*#* and see if there is an option under the Testing menu (look under Phone Information) that might let you do this. It has a lot of options regarding radio.

Cool -- thanks for the confirmation that I'm not crazy!

I'll take a poke around in the testing menu and see what I can find.

    Should be under Settings/Data manager/Data Delivery/

    Background Data
    Data Roaming
    Data Enabled

Thank You! Apparently I was looking in the wrong section for these settings....my friend's Droid has it under the other section where I was incorrectly looking for them.
