    It would seem that the only way to resolve the issue is to do the factory reset back to version 2.2.20, but it's a rather inconvenient dissapointment considering that there seems to be minor glitches with 2.2.20 that 2.3.20 most likely fixes... wish Motorola could revert this battery issue in their next update

    You are not alone in this problem....and yes it happened with an OTA update from Froyo to Gingerbread. What a pain in the ^$$. The problem has never been resolved and I doubt it will be unless some smart coder out there figures it out! Best of luck and feel free to post if you every find a resolution.
