2.3.20: calls not coming through, lock bar moved

I updated to 2.3.20 today. after I updated, the device's slide bar to unlock the device had moved up about an inch... bizarre right?

Now I have realized that about half of my calls are randomly not coming through, and are going straight to voicemail. I think the device might be having signal problems now.

What should I do?

As for the lockbar that was purposefull. It was part of the update.

Not too sure about the signal but someone else may.

There's a app out there called renicer that should fix this problem, I used it to fix this problems on my buddys phone. Just google phone renicer. Its a apk file and you install it just like any other app. If you can't find it ill try to dig it up from somewhere and send it to you. Good luck.

Here it is, just extract the zip and install the enclosed .apk file.

Also it may be as simple as just reprogramming your phone. In junction with doing the above also dial *228 and press 2 when prompted.

Did you download it from the attachment in my post? If not you probably downloaded the wrong thing, As i know the attachment i posted is not any part of snesdroid or any emulator for that matter.

so why was the lock bar moved up? that is so annoying. My thumb is used to a certain placement for quickly unlocking the device.

I think they were trying to make it more convenient but I don't really know. I think the stock slider is placed all the way at the bottom.
