    Back up contacts

    So my last post was about losing my contacts, this time I just want to make sure those I got back, are backed up in gmail. I'm not sure how to ensure they are saved, so if anyone knows, I'd reatly appreciate it. I'm eagerly awaiting to install a new ROM I really want to try.

    Check your settings and make sure that you have sync contacts checked and they will automatically be backed up in Gmail.

    I don't sync my contacts to gmail, I export them to my sdcard.

    How do you do that? When I go to my contacts and hit menu it won't let me export them

    That's how I do it. In the contacts app, menu - more - import/export.
