    Text Messaging Issue

    I have a Droid 2 Global, updated to gingerbread. It seems as though ever since the update my phone has been acting up.
    For some reason whenever my boyfriend leaves the area or town around his house, I cannot receive his texts. At first I thought it was his phone but everyone else he sends to receives his texts just fine. It's really frustrating seeing as though he does not stay home all day, so I barely ever receive his texts!
    I downloaded the gingerbread ghostly messages app hoping it would work, but no luck.
    Anything else I could do?

    You can try Settings > Applications > Messaging (maybe 'Text Messaging') > Clear cache.

    I went to that menu and it wont let me clear the cache for some reason. I think I'll just have to take it up to Verizon at some point. Thanks for the help!

    Do you get text msgs from other people? Get some of your other friends to text you and see if you receive them. If you do receive others, he may have the wrong phone number for you. Sounds dumb, but it is possible.
