Droid 2 Global Qwerty issue........

A friend of mine has a Droid 2 Global. On her first phone it got to the point where it would type 3 letters and then not allow it to continue. She took it into Verizon and they gave her a replacement phone. Now the replacement is doing the same thing.

To my knowledge the only app she runs is twitter.

Any help is appreciated.

I don't have a D2G, but would imagine it would be something like this. You go into Manage Applications>All>Multitouch Keyboard and Clear Data. You then go into Settings>Language and Keyboard>Multitouch Keyboard>General Settings and disable Next Word Prediction.
