New 2.3.3 update and now no contact pictures

I got the new 2.3.3 update today for my droid 2 and it updated without issue. After it finished I quickly looked around it it looked fine. About an hour later I went to my text messages and saw only a few of my conversations with the pictures they should have. I went to my contacts and saw the same thing, most of my contacts are now not showing the pictures they should. Usually my contacts get the pics from being linked to Facebook, but they are nearly all missing now. Any ideas why this is and how to fix? Yes, i have rebooted several times and yes, i have taken the battery out several times too.
