About LinkBacksI have been having a problem with some apps not installing. They will download but when get to install they say can't install on sd card or usb storage. Anybody had this problem b4.

08-04-2011 09:58 PMHad the same problem but I fixed it...you have to plug your phone to your computer, go to sd card, android secure, and delete a file that's called "sml1"...something like that its called. This file is corrupt so u have to delete it. U can't see the file with on your phone with a file app like astro....u have to plug the phone to a computer

I can't install any apps on my Droid2
I have a similar problem. The apps will download but will not install. I tried your suggestion by connecting my phone to my computer. The problem is that I can't access the SD card when I do that. Even though the Motorola drivers are loaded I still can't access that USB drive. I will try taking the SD card out and putting it in a card reader and see if that allows me to find that file.
I will keep you posted.

08-09-2011 01:38 PMThe name of the file u r looking for is smdl2tmp1. I removed the file, but when I disconnected my phone it froze. Pulled battery and all was right with the world again.
