ChevyNo1 kernel installed but doesn't do anything
I am running Liquid ROM 3.0 perfectly right now. Trying to flash with ChevyNo1 ULV 1.2Ghz from recovery. Everything went without problem. But after reboot, nothing seems to happen. Checked from Liquid Settings under overclock section, the max freq. is only 1000 Mhz. Also checked from system information in Quadrant, it showed 1000 Mhz of max freq.
Did i do something wrong? Or am i missing something here? Any help is much appreciated...

Just a thought, but did you wipe cache & dalvik cache in recovery before installing .zip from sdcard ? Also you can check your kernel version in settings>about phone>Kernel Version.

The D2 cannot run custom kernels. Do not flash a kernel. It has a locked bootloader. You must be rooted and use an overclock app like android overclock.

Are you sure? Why would chevyno release an unusable release? I thought bootstrap was helping to make it happen.

Chevy hasn't released kernels for the D2....to my knowledge.

Liquidsmooth's webpage had a bunch of kernels listed but they were really for the D1. It's an error on the D2 and X pages.

I think he only works on a droid x and the droid og. So the kernels you're talking about are meant for those 2 phones not the droid 2 anyway

Fyi the droid 2 and x are not nand unlocked. Therefore you cannot "make" kernels for them.
Those kernels listed are for the D1 only.
