    Do you have all of the files downloaded for flashing an sbf?

    yeah unfortunately the OP has a Mac so the steps to flashing an sbf are quite a bit more elaborate.

    75 % of computer users are pc's, so if he's not a fanboy and hasnt alienated windows users, im sure he's got a friend with a pc or access to one to do this. it takes about 15 mins.

    Hi I have the same problem. Im stuck in bootloop and Im getting a replacement phone from verizon. I want to erase all signs of root from my broken phone. I have a mac and a droid 2 global. how can i flash sbf's using a mac

    Longstory short, You cant. Unless you install windows through bootcamp, Thats what I eneded out doing. Im not sure if theyre the same as they were a few months ago. but ive sent back a rooted phone, no problem.

    well it can be done, I wrote up a tutorial for the D1 but it will work for the d2 with the right sbf files as well. You need to install ubuntu through a free virtual machine though. Here is the link if anyone is interested.
