    Restore default kernel

I recently rooted my phone and decided that it might be a defective model (gets super hot, touch screen stops working and drops calls) and I wanted to return/exchange it. I restored my nandroid backup and removed bootstrap and unrooted. I think everything is back to factory default except for my kernel.

    Here is my phone info
    System Version: Version.2.4.29.A956.Verizon.en.US
    Baseband version: N_01.48.00R
    Kernel Version: 2.6.32.9-g700f0cf xrpk47@il93lnxdroid25 #1

I'm pretty sure thats not the stock kernel. Should I worry about them looking at my kernel version? Or can I send this back in no problem since the phone will look and appear to work fine unless they look at phone info? Or do I need to look at the rooting tutorials more?

    Did you flash a ROM?

Kind of a dumb question on my part since the Droid 2 has an encrypted bootloader and any non-stock kernel would lock your phone up tighter than the tolerances on a sniper rifle, forcing a hard reset.

No roms. Just followed the directions to root and unroot the droid 2 global by sgmd10. I haven't been able to find out by searching what the correct kernel is... does anybody know?

    Kernel: 2.6.32.9-g462500fdbretzm1@il93lnxdroid22 #1

    Your baseband is also outdated.

    BP_C_01.09.07P

    05P will work, also.
