    Rom Update

    How will the new Droid2 update effect your ROMS? Will we lose root if we upgrade?

    Yes you have to re root. And if you have a custom rom you should sbf before the update not after.
    R.I.P Droid 1 (screen broke, no replacements available)
    Droid 2 stock now

    Like many of us, you could reject the update! I have a rooted Droid. I've not installed one update released from VZW.

    This includes a baseband update those are good to get from verizon I think.

    I suppose. I've never worried. I do, however, switch roms frequently so that may update for me.
