    Boot Animations for Stock Rom?

    Does anyone know how to install custom boot animations for the stock rom? i did it on Droid 1 a while ago but i'm not sure how to do it for the Droid 2 Global does anyone know or link me to a tutorial please?

    You should be able to use metamorph to install, which is a pretty simple tool to use if you're already rooted (you have to be rooted to change the boot animation anyway, so that shouldn't be a problem). Search for custmo metamorph boot animations, download it, put it in sdcard/Android Themes, and use metamorph to install the zip.

    Can i uninstall the app after i change the boot animation or do i have to keep it? thank you

    Sorry I realize that you posted this yesterday.

    But to answer your question, yes, you can uninstall metamorph after you use it.
