    Cobalt 1.0

Not sure about the rules of posting but matt4542 has released his new rom on another forum. I'm sure it'll be coming here but just throwing it out there.

I've tried it, and while it was the smoothest ROM I've used on the D2, it still had a few glitches. For example, the physical keyboard. You can access numbers 1-3, but anything after is either a letter, or you can ALT+, and you'll get some type of character. You can't access 4-9 at all.

Secondly, it's not a big deal, and Matt is aware of it, is the lack of vibrate when you access the touch keys.

Once the mapping is figured out, I'll probably be using it. But, unfortunately I can't even sign into my Google account without access to numbers.

Tried it too - my GPS wouldn't work on my D2 so I went back to Liberty. I think Matt could be on to something here. Keep it up Matt - looks like it has great potential.

    do not recommend it...

i have used every rom out there on multiple occasions and cobalt 1.0 is the only one i have ever had brick my phone. I followed instructions explicitly. The market gave the known error message of "not enough space to install." I wiped the data from the market app in manager and no luck. I did a wipe in recovery and it bootlooped and would not load. I did over 20 battery pulls and ended up getting lucky that cm recovery loaded as i was set to sbf. it had the highest quadrant scores without oc Ive seen thus far, but got fcs and the aforementioned bootloop. He is definitely on to something, but wait for the "something" !!!!!

Hmm, thats weird. You should just install whatever. Get the zip, Gapps, Keyboard fix.
Boot into recovery. Wipe, once or twice if you feel like it. Install the rom, and then mount and install the other two zips. Reboot.

    This rom is SMOOTH
