arc media and gallery,astro incompatible

ok so i rooted my D2G, paid for titanium backup, backed up all my favs and froze others...then i tried to watch some movies..searched the forums..arc media was reccommended...so i DL it and watched movies all day, then tried to show someone a pic and my who phone locked up... so i pulled the battery and restarted..tried astro file manager...same effect...did this for 2 days all in different ways...gallery and any file manager did not work...so i deleted arc media...then things went back to normal

anyone else have this issue? is there any other app that i can watch movies with? is there any app i can use with .GIF files?
