Cyanogenmod 9.0.0 for the Droid 2 Global

What works:

What doesn't work:

• Chrome
• Flash (?)

3/27:

I didnt do much with this build as I was busy with Gummy however, user Jonman over at Rootzwiki has done alot.

Things I've noticed:

• Battery stats work
• camcorder starts but freezes when start to record then dies when stop
• Panorama switches to it now but freezes on whatever the camera was pointing at when swapped to that mode
• split texts over 160 chars option is back
• redid the 1% method in a way that should help with the jumps
• added a few performance tweaks that I had included in Gummy
  • sysctl
  • lock home in memory
  • kernel tweaks
  • i/o tweaks

Had a few reports of problems caused flashing over an older build but at the same time there have been others saying cache wipes were enough. Seems rather hit or miss. So if you run into problems wipe data and that should fix them.

3/20:

• CAMERA! (mirrored though)
• cm updates: appears to be mostly backend changes

3/15:

• Has name and build number fixed
• Has ClassE fix - makes 3rd party camera apps show right colors (it is mirrored now though...)

• Missed posting a few builds here
• Should have working GSM
• Started work on HW decoding (may break Youtube, even on HQ)
• I'm probably missed a TON

2/28:

• init.d support
• minfree tweaks
• Bikedude cleaned up init's some. Reports better battery as a result
• data monitoring works

• added WIP camera stuff (No, doesnt work yet)

• Fixed the sanity check
• Fixed where I accidentally unmerged a bunch of Hashcode's changes (including some GSM stuff).

• added sanity check to keep battery from displaying over 100%

• fixed haptic feedback and default brightness levels.

Install Instructions:

• Reboot into recovery
• Wipe data
• Install from zip (navigate to the zip on your SD card)
• Repeat for Gapps (if you don't, you can't access your Google accounts or Market)
• After ROM loads and you see 'Activate your phone', press 'Skip' (your this is for VZ activation, which you don't need).
• Click OK when you see the pop up warning

After install DO NOT USE BOOTSTRAPPER TO GET BACK TO RECOVERY. Hold power, click reboot, recovery, ok.

new build in op, fix haptic feedback and up'd the default brightness values because some people on Rootz were complaining about them being too low. Should also fix the keyboard not lighting up some times.
