How is the hotmail app different from using EAS?
I'm not sure, its slightly more refined. They finally decided to make their own so I tried it out.
Is the hotmail app in the market? I looked and didn't see one by hotmail. I've been using one called better hotmail or something and it seems nice.

Have you tried setting up your Hotmail account via Exchange? It's simple, and it's working fine.
just tried the app and i agree that it is draining my battery..
