Camera resets to default settings since Gingerbread update

I disable the flash and set the camera to 5 MP. When I restart it a few hours later, all settings are back to default. Is this happening to anyone else?

Me too! I do NOT want widescreen pics ans it keeps changing back to that setting! I don't know how to fix it but I hope someone out there figures out a fix! Are you listening Motorola?

From what little I've been able to garner through research on Google, this is a common bug on Gingerbread. Our wrath should thus be aimed squarely at Google.

Hopefully, some dev or hacker will come up with a way to force the camera to save our resolution settings.
