12-09-2010 10:56 AMI believe it only edits existing files. You could use Music Junk to download free music then Ringdroid to edit them. That's what I usually do.
There are apps that have various tones included too.....Zedge is one to try.

12-10-2010 04:03 PMDoes ringdroid have to remain open for the ringtones to keep working???? It seems that after a week or so they (the tones I made with ringdroid) quit working? (non-rooted droid X 2.2)
