Multimedia Dock XT - Droid 2 - Problems!

Hello, I recently upgraded to a Droid 2 and then went online to purchase the Multimedia dock XT (For extended batteries AND hard covers) and NOT the other "regular" dock. I was stunned when it did not fit the Droid 2 (I use a hard cover, that is why I selected the XT for hard covers).

When I called Verizon, they said they would look into it. Four days later, I called and was told "what do you want us to do."

I would LIKE to use the dock, but not have to continue to remove the hard case every night. The XT model on their order and webite SAYS it fits hard covers, but buyer beware - IT DOES NOT!

Are you using the OEM moto cover, or a 3rd party manufacturer?

are you sure that you are removing the Droid 2 stock frame that is inserted in the dock? You have to remove it so that the excess room for cases and such is available.
