Thank you! Just ordered this for my Droid 2!!! Since I can't find another docking station that works with the Droid 2 while wearing a case! This is the perfect solution.

The motorola cradle will work with many cases. It comes with a removable insert. Use the insert for the bare phone, remove it for one in a case.

I'd hardly call a generic stand a "docking station", let alone even remotely "ideal".
