    Heat and cases

    Do protective cases affect heat dissipation? I've noticed that my droid2 gets pretty hot during heavy use, and was wondering if its something that I should be concerned about.

    i wouldnt I have a droid 1 otterbox that I modified to fit a d2 and protection is more important for me. only issue with heat is it drain the battery. espnradio and streaming apps are what kill a battery so when using them i down clock.
    my phone of choice: verizon Googorola Nexus

    plastic is a heat barrier/insulator, so a plastic case will not help dissipate the heat away from the phone. in your case, i would go with a full body invisible shield or something similar
