So drod, since all these awesome phones are coming out this year I was wondering which one if any you were gonna develop for. Cause after using rubix for months now I want to make sure I pick the right upgrade

As I'll be locked into the X for quite sometime, company won't approve a new upgrade for awhile. I'm hoping drod will continue the X development whatever he chooses. Please !

I haven't had an X for a couple of months now (besides the one i've been using with a bad esn/broken backlight) and have kept up development. X development isn't going anywhere for a while.
I'm waiting to see what dual core phones get announced, since my upgrade isn't till next year anyways, i'll be paying full retail. If nothing exciting by the time the tbolt comes out, i'll likely go with that.
No more moto for me. No more lockdowns.

What exactly can be done with changing kernals on a 1GHz phone that would be better than a 2 GHz phone?
Maybe not but they are the present and expect worse in the future. Since the modding community sends back a lot of devices they break (not warranty) but the lie about it. Moto and HTC are tired of paying for it. meaning we did it to our selves. If you break it you should buy it. Quit taking from these companies before it's like IOS
Sometimes , It is what it is !
The companies should stop accepting phones that have been bricked due to software tampering. Or people should stop being douches and sending phones back that they bricked. Most of the "bricks" that people get on their phones are fixable anyway with the right tools...
But yeah, I love the new Bionic, but I do not want the locked bootloader. It kind of breaks the spirit of the "open" Android platform.
Pricing on 4g coupled with horrible battery life running at 4g speeds I for one have no interest in switching from the x at least for another year. Then who knows. Coming from a first gen blackberry (storm 1) I can also say I will never own another first gen device, ie first lte phones.
