I rooted my og droid just to see if I could do it. After that I was addicted to rom flashing! Now every phone I've owned has been rooted and Titanium backup has become my best friend!

I rooted my device because my friend told me I needed to and so I did and I love having custom roms on my phone for the customization

I first rooted my OG a year and a half ago. I was tired of all my friends with their new Droid X's rubbing it in my face and showing me that their phone could out perform mine. I stumbled upon "rooting" and found that once rooted you could install a ROM and over clock to increase performance. I was scared, but took the plunge and haven't looked back.

I could never thank these Devs enough for all they do for this community. In all honesty, I purchased TiBu long ago when I was tired of re-installing everything after installing ROMs. I'm just here for the gift card. If that disqualifies me, so be it. Though I'd be happy to do a giveaway of my own if I were to win a TiBu license.

I rooted because I got tired of the bloat constantly running and draining my battery, afterwards I took the next step and started using custom roms to get the full potential out of my phone.

Rooted my Bionic for an adfree, unbloated, wifi tethering better than iPhone experience.

I root my devices so I can have as much control over them as possible.

Rooted my OG in Dec 09 so that I could get custom rom and theme. Found out I could do a lot more and was very happy with the og for over 2.5 years. Just got a nexus and rooted it ASAP. Been tweaking it for a week and about to Rom and theme it.

Already have Pro Key and Media Sync. Big thanks to Joel for continuing to update Titanium and help my root experience.
    Phone: Galaxy Nexus
    Rom: AOKP JB v.1
Kernel: What ever comes with the AOKP Nightlies
    Theme: ICS Stock

RE: Pretty Nice, sucks a little more battery than I like, overall a great custom jb rom.
