    Superbowl Sunday

    What a super contest. Thanks DRIOD forums!

    I'll be celebrating with my family and friends on Sunday in my new basement 7.1 surround sound theater room where I installed a new Hitachi HD ceiling mount projector for this event that creates a 130" picture.

    Thank you. I put it all together myself. The equipment is an Onkyo TX-NR809 AMP, SnapAV Episode speakers for the front channels. The rear speakers are Bose speakers and a powered 3 speaker Bose sub-woofer.

    The picture is outstanding at 1080i for HD television over Comcast cable TV.

    It's not exactly a picture, but this is what i'm doing stuporbowl sunday. It'll even be raining again.

    This is SCCA Solo, otherwise known as Autocross. We set up cones in an empty lot or old airfield, and run cars through the obstacle course with computerized timing. Quite a thrill since everything happens so fast. More info: Houston Region SCCA :: A place for car enthusiasts in Houston


    I fail to understand the obsession with throwing around a piece of porcine leather in a specially crafted ritualistic structure each year. But then again, I've never been real big on sports, just sports cars.
