G1 started it for me. After that I was hooked. Android was the only phone to offer me the individuality I wanted. My favorite app is SNES9x.
My favorite things about Android have to be the community that surrounds it and the freedom that the OS provides. I can do most anything on an Android phone nowadays and am never stuck needing to get to a computer to accomplish tasks. Having such an enormous community is also extremely helpful for questions, chatting and feeling like a part of a big family. Unfortunately, I no longer have an Android phone (forced to use a Blackberry Storm 1) - so winning a Bionic would truly be awesome! Thanks for the contest! Best of luck to all.
Got the incredible when it was released, hated the battery. Traded it for a Droid X on release day one! Loved it. Got the guts to root and ever since I have been going crazy with Android! I now have Three DX's, a D2, D3, Gtab7. Xoom, Fascinate, Charge, and now the Bionic. All are or have been rooted and most are custom rom'd!
Still running the OG Droid with my favorite ROM, Droid Concepts with CorCor's 250-900 kernel...right now rocking with Launcher 7 and a Samsung mashup theme...Favorite app has to be Tweetdeck so that I can get all my updates in one place (crossing my fingers for G+ support sometime soon). The phone has seen better days but the Bionic is the first phone I was really considering to replace it but since I lost my job a new phone hasn't been in the finances quite yet. Here's hopin!
Of all the things I've lost,I miss my mind the most.
I like android for three main reasons: (1) it's an open source mobile OS, which is pretty cool all by itself; (2) there's a pretty wide range of devices available. I suppose that can also be a con in some ways, but on the other hand, certain other mobile OS's have few enough choices to count on the fingers of one hand. I like having plenty of options available. And (3) it's relatively easy to develop apps for! There is a semi-steep learning curve admittedly (which I am still trying to overcome), but no outlandish hoops to jump through or expensive hardware that you absolutely need to buy. I'm a computer science student, and android is practically a tech tinkerer's dream come true. Now, if only I could get an actual phone to test my apps on instead of being stuck with the SDK's emulator... hint hint...
my favorite app is the nfl mobile app. i love being able to keep track of my favorite team, washington redskins, while i am stationed in san diego, ca as a US Marine. even though i cant watch the entire game, the nfl redzone does the job of keeping me up to date.
I'm just hoping I can win a new Bionic. I'm on my 2nd Android phone now but it's Binged. I am so glad I didn't jump ship to a different carrier to get an iPhone 2.5 years ago. Netflix is awesome, but you gotta love having Full Flash support and so many choices in devices of all shapes and sizes.
Favorite app is titanium backup to keep app data saved
Favorite game is Drag Racing
Favorite roms are anything with CM7 base

Android is awesome. I have an OG Droid and I got it when they first came out in Nov 09. I am over here in Kandahar, Afghanistan and on this deployment a co-worker got me into the while rooting and custom ROMS. Looking forward to getting a Bionic and seeing what BA roms come out for it.
Hello Droid Forums.
My favorite application is the Rom Manager. I have used this app since I rooted my OG Droid. I continue to use it on my wife'a Thunderbolt. I like CM7 and Mr. Alfonso's work as well. Bugless Beast was awesome. I love my Droids and request to have the best.
