Once upon a time back in 2008, I bought my first smartphone. She was beautiful and everything a geeky man could ask for. This sexy lady was my BlackBerry Storm. She let me touch her and talked to me all the time. She would always "accidentally" call my friends. After being together for just a few short months, I would try to turn her on and things weren't the same as she would freeze up on me and refuse to respond to my touch.
In our short time together, she treated me well but was high maintenance and didn't put out a lot ....of apps of course. She eventually stopped talking to me and I had to move on.
Obviously I was on the rebound, and picked up a few quick fixes who just weren't doing it for me. All they would do was talk and really brought nothing else to the table. Then, I found the love of my life in the Motorola Droid. We hit it off from the get go and have been together since. However, over the years, she's had a few accidents. She's also aged over the past few years. Her memory isn't what it once was. She still talks to me and puts out a lot ...of apps of course. However, she isn't quite as sexy as she was when we met. Her bumps, bruises, scratches and scars have hurt both her looks and her performance. She's also much heavier than I remember. Though we've put a few bandaids on the relationship, It was finally time for us to part ways.
Does a normal everyday guy (described by my boss as the whitest guy he's ever met) deserve a supermodel like the Droid Bionic? Probably not. However, I would treat her like the trophy phone she is and show her off to all my friends.
Thanks for the consideration. I've also followed and tweeted the Giveaway info.
