Streaming media! Help!

I'm using a cm7 2.3.5gsb on and old Eris, mainly because I'm to poor to buy a new phone. Anyway, I all of a sudden started experiencing issues with videos taking forever to load! My question is, where do I clear the data off it.. I've search root explorer, titanium back up, and manage applications, and I can't even locate the media player.. what am I doing wrong? How can clear it's data!? p.s I still 160mb left of internal memory, so I know it's not that
