Phone Stuck At the Motorola M...

Okay to start off, all I wanted to do is move ALL my apps to the SD card because im running out of room on my phone and I have a 16 GB SD card not even half full. I download the app 'Apps to SD' and it said I wasn't running the correct ROM. My phone was using a ROM put on so it could be flashed over to Cricket. Well I backed that ROM up so just in case if the next ROM id use would take away my phones functionality. I went onto the Cyanogen website and downloaded cyanogen 7 for the motorola droid. I went into ROM manager and installed it. Well it rebooted my phone went into this screen saying loading update and several other things, sorry it was late and i don't have many details, but anyway it wouldn't load the update and after an hour it just turned off. I left it alone till this morning and everytime i try to turn it on it sits at the motorola M. 2 hours.... its still just waiting there. Now how can I fix this without having to reflash or buy a new phone, which I may have to do anyway. :P

You won't need to buy a new phone. Pull the battery, put it back in, boot up into recovery (hold down x and power button at the same time). Do a wipe of data and cache 2-3 times to make sure the phone is clean then install your backup from the SD card. Your phone will rise again. Enter your Google account info and you will be good to go.
